These terms cover what happens when you request a quote, schedule service, or hire Good Boy Landscaping (“we,” “us,” or “our”) for lawn care and landscaping work. By reaching out or booking with us, you agree to what’s below.
We’re a small, owner-operated business in Canton, Georgia, and these terms are written in plain language to match how we work.
1. Quotes and Pricing
Every quote we give is based on the yard and the work you describe, plus an on-site measurement when needed. The number we tell you before we start is the number you pay — no surprise add-ons after the fact.
- Quotes are free, and you’re never under any obligation to book after getting one.
- A quote is valid for 30 days unless we tell you otherwise, since material prices (mulch, pine straw) can change seasonally.
- If we find something unexpected once we’re on the property — hidden debris, drainage issues, or a job bigger than it looked — we’ll stop, tell you straight, and agree on any change in price before we keep going.
2. Scheduling and Service
We’ll agree on a date and a time window for your service. We work in Cherokee County and the surrounding towns, and we route our days to be efficient for everyone.
- Weather happens. If rain or storms make it unsafe or unwise to work, we’ll reschedule and let you know as early as we can.
- For recurring mowing (weekly or biweekly), we’ll show up on your scheduled day. Same person every visit whenever possible.
- Please make sure we can reach the work area — gates unlocked, pets secured, and access cleared so we can get the job done safely.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule, just give us at least 24 hours’ notice and there’s no charge.
- Same-day cancellations for a one-time job may be subject to a small trip charge if we already dispatched to your property.
- Recurring service can be paused or canceled anytime with a quick call or text — no long-term contracts, no hassle.
4. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of the work unless we’ve agreed otherwise in writing. We accept cash, check, and major cards.
- For larger projects, we may ask for a deposit to hold your spot and cover materials.
- If a payment is overdue, we may pause further service until it’s settled — but we’ll always reach out to you first.
5. Your Property
You agree to give us safe access to the areas we’re working in and to let us know about anything we should watch out for — invisible pet fences, fragile plants, sprinkler heads, or thin hoses near the beds.
We’ll treat your yard like it’s our own. If we accidentally damage something in the course of doing the agreed work, let us know right away and we’ll make it right.
6. Limits of Our Responsibility
We’re responsible for the work we agree to do and for doing it with care. We aren’t liable for pre-existing conditions, hidden underground issues, or problems caused by weather, pests, or neglect before we started.
Our total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific service.
7. Photos and Promotion
We may take before-and-after photos of our work to show what we do on our website or social media. We won’t show your address or identifying details without your okay. If you don’t want your yard photographed, just tell us and we’ll respect that.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it was last reviewed.
